Description : network utility to put files on the web using HTTP/1.=
1

Winie is an utility able to put files on the web using the PUT
method defined in the HTTP/1.1 specification.
    .
It implements a solution to the "lost update problem". This
problem is common with systems allowing concurrent read and write
access on resources. By use of the PUT method, the web becomes such
    a system.
    .

This tool is written in Java and provides both text and graphical user
interfaces. It uses Swing. Due to the lack of a Swing-compatible
Java library in main, I think this package will have to go into
contrib (the W3C Software license seems DFSG compliant).

I close this bug as I have no more interest in packaging this
application. I no longer use Winie.
