SuSE has a file named ARCHIVES.gz on their CDs that contains all filenames from all packages on that installation set. You can get the Debian equivalent here: http://ftp.XX.debian.org/debian/dists/$YOURDIST/Contents-$YOURARCH.gz This file is easily searched with zgrep.
