Well I'm surprised at the number of responses that are negative towards unstable. Maybe I've just been lucky but I can't say I've had any mayor problems with unstable in about 3 years of using it. Well actually I still have testing set as the default release (using apt pinning) but I've installed so many packages from unstable that most of my system is from unstable now. Aside from problems with packages that I really didn't have the expertise to use to start with (udev springs to mind) I really haven't had any mayor problems. I've even used packages from experimental (KDE, XFree 4.3) and aside from the occasional dependency conflict that gets solved at the next update all has been fine. Never had a problem with stability or hosing my system in 3 years. ~leo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
