I have read the /usr/share/doc/menu/html/* documentation and made the following change to /etc/menu-methods/menu.h:
sort=ifelse($sort,$sort,"ZZZ") ":" tolower(title()) so that my custom Debian menus can specify sort order. I cannot figure out how to sort Sections, i.e so that "Frequent" will sort before "Apps". But since all the docs *explicitly forbid* using Sections other than those on the approved list, can a System Administrator expect to be able to use custom sections? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
