I believe this is wrong. Lithium-Ion Batteries actually suffer from complete discharge cycles.


Any references? This is an important topic.


I know that when I had battery problems (quick discharge), Toshiba tech support told me that the way to ensure that the LiION battery didn't get a "memory" was to periodically run it through a couple of complete discharge cycles by booting a DOS floppy (no power management) and letting the laptop run untill it died.
