My yp.conf and nsswitch.conf are the same like on the other Suse-NIS-Clients.
In /etc/passwd the last line is '+::::::'.
In /etc/shadow '+::::::::' and in /etc/group '+:::'.
/usr/share/doc/nis/nis.debian.howto.gz, which works for me using
client, master and slave configurations.
Yes, I did so. /usr/share/doc/nis/nis.debian.howto.gz tells something about this '+::::::' style.
