i can't start the gimp-1.3(sid package) or gimp-2.0 (selfcompiled) on latest sid,
because it gives this as message:

but i have the correct fontconfig installed and also reinstalled. Also, i have searched the whole disk for an old fontconfig file , but without success.
Why did it guess i have installed fontconfig version 1.0.2. ?? And where?
Anyone with same problems, and solved ?
