Sarge is not released yet, so I guess you mean the pre-sarge testing or unstable, right? Go to http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages#search_packages and stick in 'amule'. From the Distibution pulldown menu select any and then click search. My guess is that it temporarily disappeared from testing or unstable, but it's in unstable right now. Or maybe your package cache files are out of date, and a referring to a version which has now been bumped up in unstable or testing. Run 'dselect update' as root to fix this.
