have a strange problem...
bought a Trust wireless Ami mouse 250S recently, and so far this thing
works fine, except for one thing...
the whell mouse works only in 1 direction.... to the bottom (event 5)
turning the wheel up (X-event 4) never happens to be catched....
i tryed with xev, but that one shows nothing, no event whatsoever....
(BTW same for the sideway buttons... but that's less important)
now when i turn the whell in both directions the base ofthe mouse tells
me that events are propagated, thus i suppose that the mouse itself is
ok...
i pipe the mous through gpm before sending to X (using /dev/gpmdata),
using the following config:
device=/dev/input/mouse0
repeat_type=raw
type=autops2
append="-l \"a-zA-Z0-9_.:~/\300-\326\330-\366\370-\377\""
the part in the XF86config:

so someone has maybe a hint on what to change to get this working?
