I am currently running Linux kernel 2.4.24 on a NAS server running Debian. The machine is only doing
NFS using nfs-kernel-server. The machine is a Dual P3 1.4 gigahertz, with 1.5 gigs of memory. I notice
that the server uses all the memory, also the load on the machine is always high. I am trying to figure out
what I can do to help the load on the machine as well as the memory usage. Any comments would be
appreciated.
