thanks for the answer... I tried this already... I've found the
libstdc5-thingie only in the open office suite.....????

I'll reinstall libstdc++5, which obviously seems to have a problem, see what
happens then!


I think I got what I need, if I need further help I'll come back to you.

Edit /etc/ld.so.conf to add the path to the library and then type
ldconfig
