Haim, If you want to run kernel 2.6, you can still run vmware: - Install vmware as usual, but don't run vmware-config.pl. - Go to ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/vmware/ and grab the latest vmware- any-any-update*.tar.gz. - Unpack it, and run ./runme.pl. runme.pl will patch your copy of vmware to work with kernel 2.6, then run vmware-config.pl. If you need to reconfigure vmware in the future, there's no need to rerun runme.pl; just run vmware-config.pl. If you want to stick with kernel 2.4, you can still follow the instructions at http://home.comcast.net/~andrex/Debian- nVidia/installation.html. They work for 2.4 and 2.6 kernels. I don't know if that will solve your problem, but it might. Good luck, Andrew. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
