I didn't find it that difficult. Create /etc/apt/preferences and put this in it: Package: * Pin: release a=testing Pin-Priority: 1001 and of course change (or add ?) sources to sources.list for testing. Then run: apt-get -s dist-upgrade to see if everything would be ok. If so: apt-get dist-upgrade I found they're actually quite close, so very little changes were necessary.
