Does the subject boot message indicate something that requires immediate fix?
Or, is it more of a warning that that application is using an obsolete and deprecated call, and that developers for those applications someday will catch up and upgrade that method? So far, I have seen this in conjunction with all of the Debian stock v2.6.x kernels during boot. In my case, they complain about snmpd and syslogd; but, googling indicates that there are several other applications complaining. I have not yet seen a definitive answer regarding the severity of the root cause.
