hi, go and check http://www.winischhofer.net/ There you have all the information you need for your SiS graphics card, including drivers; add this to your /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://www.winischhofer.net/sis/debian/stable ./ then do # apt get install sisxdriver and sisctrl Alternatively, you can upgrade from woody to unstable so you can use Xfree86 4.3 that comes with drivers for that card. cheers, rodrigo
