I have installed my Debian on a p2 system. But I am having trouble connecting my debian system to the internet.
I'm kind of new to this myself but will give it a shot.
Can you ping localhost? Can you ping anything else on your lan? What is your gateway computer?
What do you get when you type
netstat -rn
ifconfig -a
