I have a GeForce4 MX440 card; it works under XFree86 4.3, which is now available in the Unstable/Sid release. I'm running Testing/Sarge, so I simply pulled in the Sid packages via apt-pinning (apt-get install -t unstable x- windows-sytem). YMMV --M.
