Hi,
I want to add new font to X window, but encountered a problem. The
following is what I did:
1. get mingliu.ttc
$ cp /mnt/C/WINNT/Fonts/MINGLIU.ttf /usr/share/fonts/truetype/mingliu.ttc
2. install defoma:
$ apt-get install defoma x-ttcidfont-conf libft-perl dialog
3. get .hints file:
$ cd /usr/share/fonts/truetype/
$ defoma-hints truetype mingliu.ttc > mingliu.hints
the system gives information:
Wait for second...
then the whole term has no responds any more:(
The versions of my softwares are:
defoma 0.11.7
x-ttcidfont-conf 14
libft-perl 1.2-13.1
dialog 0.9b-20031207-1
anybody who helps me will be appreciated!
