The upstream has a package but it's really crude and not that great of a packaging. I had put an ITP in to package it as soon as I realized that but then in starting to work on it I found out just how bad it is. Rather than listing what supporting packages it needs the upstream has put all of them in his source tree and installs them as one. I just ran out of time to deal with trying to clean it up and make a proper package when I started getting into the legal quagmire I'm in currently. If someone else has more time and interest to deal with it take over my ITP.
