That has to do with Micro Channel support. Micro Channel is very rare these days - such machines haven't been manufactured since probably 1994 or 1995, except for IBM Unix workstations. (Actually MCA was pretty rare even back then.) So the quick fix is to reconfigure your kernel: go to "Bus options" and unselect "MCA support". I'm assuming you don't have one of these rare machines after all. Peter
