Ah, sorry. The line is from the daemon config, /etc/ssh/sshd_config. home:~# grep Protocol /etc/ssh/sshd_config Protocol 2,1 > Also, try with 'ssh -1' and 'ssh -2' to see if the OpenSSH client does > the same; add more -v options for more verbosity.
