I could use some help. It seems that a basic installation of Woody does not automatically set up dircolors.
I know how to enable the coloured directory listings by editing .bashrc and/or .profile in the users home directory. However, I cannot find how to set things so that all newly created users get the coloured listings turned on by default.
How can it be done?
