I spent the better part of the Night SUnday tracking things down. First I thought it was my network, as both NFS and streamed songs had bad chirps and artifacts. Then went to play from a "local disk" same issues. I then went into Hardware troubleshooting, then I fingered it had to be the OS. Went looking at Bugs in everything from the kernel to alsa to mpeg decoding to lame... Saw a few items relating to playback. Corrupting the sounds. Reverted to v1.2.8...
