The (EE) line indicates X can't find the GLcore module. Mine is in /usr/ X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcore.a Do you have that file? What are its permissions? (mine are 0644). I don't use nvidia, so I'm not sure if it provides its own GLcore. If it does, it seems like X doesn't know where to find it. You might be able to just place it in the aforementioned directory, but I can't advise as to whether that's the preferred method. HTH.
