Yes, seriously, and thanks. This is about what I expected but it seems very few sound apps are willing to use it so more often than not, it's just in the way. I'd prefer to have something in there to manage the resource, but it's kind of pointless if the apps refuse to talk to it. -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
