I've written up the method I've used to install Debian on my Asus A7V333 system, which is a buggered process due to the onboard Promise PDC20276 "raid" controller.
I've stalled in my writing of the document, but I think there's still enough information to be of use to anyone who wants to install Debian on this motherboard.
