I want to increase performance of my PC, the "inxi" command says about
the PC's memory:
~$ inxi -m
Memory:
System RAM: total: 16 GiB available: 15.38 GiB used: 3.23 GiB (21.0%)
Array-1: capacity: 32 GiB slots: 4 modules: 4 EC: None
Device-1: DIMM0 type: DDR3 size: 4 GiB speed: spec: 1866 MT/s
actual: 933 MT/s
Device-2: DIMM1 type: DDR3 size: 4 GiB speed: spec: 1866 MT/s
actual: 933 MT/s
Device-3: DIMM2 type: DDR3 size: 4 GiB speed: spec: 1866 MT/s
actual: 933 MT/s
Device-4: DIMM3 type: DDR3 size: 4 GiB speed: spec: 1866 MT/s
actual: 933 MT/s
is it possible to set "actual:" from 933 MT/s to 1866 MT/s? Why it is
933 MT/s?
The motherboard is:
~$ inxi -M
Machine:
Type: Desktop Mobo: ASUSTeK model: M5A99X EVO R2.0 v: Rev 1.xx
serial: <superuser required> BIOS: American Megatrends v: 2103
date: 11/07/2013
The filename of the PDF handbook is "E8044_M5A99X_EVO_R2.PDF", sadly I
cannot copy text from the PDF handbook cause DRM rights protection,
however the motherboard has the EPU (Energy Processing Unit) switch ON
could that be the cause? It was OFF.
Thank for any answer, kind regards,
