I've been evaluating apt-caher-ultra for a couple of weeks now. After
an initially good experience I've hit quite a few issues. Some of these
are open github issues by me or others right now, but there's a couple
of serious problems that are more complicated so I haven't yet had time
to write up issues for them. So, if one is happy with acng at present
then I couldn't really recommend it.

At present the problems I experience with acu aren't as bad as the
problems I experience with acng so I'm sticking with it in the hope
that I can help improve matters, but time may shift that balance.

I have since also heard of apt-cacher-rs:

which I have not yet had time to evaluate.

Thanks,
Andy
