Hi, I struggle to make sense of jean-christophe's messages which could be my problem but it seems like there is a language barrier here and I wonder if jean-christophe might find it easier finding a support list in their primary language.

Again maybe it is just me but I'm not convinced that jean-christophe does understand that Debian 13 comes with systemd-journald by default and how to find the logs they need using those default tools. While they might take an informed decision that they don't want to know about that and do want a more conventional syslogd installed, I don't know if that is what is happening here. I don't know if the correct way to go is to show them how to switch to rsyslog, or to show them how to find the answers with the default journald. (Nothing against rsyslog; I have it installed everywhere also.) Thanks, Andy -- https://bitfolk.com/ -- No-nonsense VPS hosting
