In general I do not think it's a good idea to forward on private emails
to public mailing lists unless you are 100% sure that it was a simple
mistake for it to be sent privately to you. It's always best to check,
or if that is too much work, I think just do not respond at all.
The monthly FAQ has this to say:
If someone replies to you privately and you think that this should
go back to the list - ask them to post it to the list - do not just
do so on their behalf without checking.
It's particularly ironic that in this case the first line of the private
email that you've posted publicly said "I just take privacy seriously."
