It might be worth asking the former maintainer (Miriam Ruiz[1]) if she
is interested in returning to it. You could also file a "request for
package" bug[2] which may give visibility to this and/or motivate
someone to work on it. If you want an RFP bug filed but don't want to
deal with mailing the BTS, I could file one on your behalf: just ask.
