In a bash script, check that a USB store is connected before trying to
mount it.

problem are you trying to solve?"

If connected, then try to mount it.  Otherwise notify that it is not
available.

Ok, in that case, something along the lines of

lsblk -o KNAME,UUID,PTUUID,PARTLABEL,PTTYPE,LABEL | grep <whatever>

might be a decent way. Checking return code, of course.

Although I'd personally prefer using proper udev rules and a predictable 
mount point plus a file system identifier, but that would require 
preparation outside your script.
