NC on up-to-date sid (Mon Dec 8 05:42:29 PM EST 2025) works fine.

$ apt policy nextcloud-desktop
nextcloud-desktop:
  Installed: 4.0.1-2
  Candidate: 4.0.1-2
  Version table:
 *** 4.0.1-2 500
        500 http://deb.debian.org/debian sid/main amd64 Packages

This is on X11, Intel B580 GPU, Plasma 6.5.

X11 vs. Wayland, perhaps?
