But as earlier pointed out in the thread, the only feed you have shown
us so far contains http links. So while Akgregator would download the
*feed* by https, to actually display the *content* it will use http
because all it can do is follow links in the feeds as they are.

Do you have other examples of feeds or feed content which is a https
link that Akregator fetches over port 80 instead?
