I'm not going to touch the ssh-agent > handling in the OS. This sounds... funny, since the ssh agent is made to manage a *user*'s priate keys. Typically it is started for a user (of course, most of the time it is started by some automatism, e.g. the user's session init, but most definitely not "the OS"). Cheers -- t
