extra bonus points for it being able to grab things from git so i don't have to write anything to do that either.
in the past i've used filezilla but in recent times somehow it isn't updating what i want it to do and it is leaving things out that i need so i want an actual script or program that will do exactly what i want it to do without any extra. currently filezilla is uploading repeatedly things that haven't really changed (and the website generator program authors aren't going to change it as i've asked them to fix what i consider a bug but of course they don't think that)... anyone doing this sort of thing? i can't find anything on github or elsewhere that i like (written in bash, c, or python is a big preference). if i can't find it i'll have to write it myself. songbird
