I have apt-get'ted all parts of xfce4 and when I edit the login manager in KDE 3.1.4, the option xfce4 invokes xfwm4.
When I select xfce4 from the login manager, the login manager disappears and then I'm left with a blank screen. None of the mouse buttons bring up any menus as they would in a normal wm.
