As M G Berberich pointed out (but I don't think CC'd you) in: https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2025/10/msg00251.html The audio system also changed from Pulseaudio to Pipewire, Pulseaudio remains available in Trixie. Do things improve if you remove pipewire and reinstall pulseaudio?
