Ther installation comes from the Debian installer: https://wiki.debian.org/Firmware says Since Debian 12, the installer will automatically check for needed firmware blobs and add them as required. However, I'm still wondering: But is it really necessary that such firmware be present in the initrd? -- Vincent Lefèvre <[email protected]> - Web: <https://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <https://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / Pascaline project (LIP, ENS-Lyon)
