I do not know if this is the same thing as what you wrote, because I do
not find your version 1.11.2 in the list shown at

Next, decide which component should control power management: UEFI or Systemd.
If you choose UEFI, then disable Systemd power state functions. Mask
the sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target
units. See <https://www.tecmint.com/disable-suspend-and-hibernation-in-linux/>
(and friends) for the command.
If you choose Systemd, then go to your BIOS/UEFI setup, and disable
S3, S4 and S5 power states. Those power states are sleep, suspend and
hibernate. Systemd will now control them.
Personally, I disable S3,S4 and S5 in the BIOS/UEFI. I allow the
operating system to control them.
I tested all the options related to sleep in UEFI:
- Power->Block sleep (allow OS to use S3): off=>bug, on=>does not sleep
anymore (after pressing sleeping button, keyboard is still lighted
(brightness on) + µP fan on)
- Performance->C-state control (allow CPU to enter/exit low power
states): both on and off=>bug
- USB wake support (related to dock): on and off=>bug
Alternatively, I disabled Systemd files, after executing:
# systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target
hybrid-sleep.target suspend-then-hibernate.target
Now I cannot suspend anymore:
root@snoopy:~# systemctl suspend
Call to Suspend failed: Access denied
root@snoopy:~#
Pressing power button on keyboard does nothing either.
