go to the menu: system/preferences/look and feel/screensaver
that's the dialog box that controls time out, and lock screen
perhaps you should also click on the Power Management button and see
if your settings are turning you monitor off.
PS: if you have multiple desktops installed Expect Conflicts
I've used the control centre many times and have adjusted all time
related options that I can find within it, but to no avail! After
about 10 minutes of inactivity, the screen just goes dark.
I haven't been able to find anything related to this on the internet,
so I'm at a loss to rid myself of this problem. So can anyone help
and advise me please?
