THX for pointing me towards this - the answer is indeed there. Sun, 16 Mar 2008 14:47:03 +0000 | Migrate the setting for enabling installation of Recommends from | Aptitude::Recommends-Important to Apt::Install-Recommends. Since the config file has been containing both options since the very old days it never was a problem. But now it's time to drop the unused legacy... -- kind regards Frank
