I knew nothing about this subject, but a little search reveals that the
chip is a Qualcomm product intended for notebooks & laptops, and there
is a competing product from Lenovo as well as Asus. It uses the ARMv9
architecture. According to Debian documentation, ARMv8 hardware
appeared late in the Trixie development cycle, so it's not surprising
there is limited support for a more recent spec yet. I expect that in
the fullness of time, Debian will fully support products like this.

In the meantime, following Tomas' suggestion sounds very sensible to
keep up with the state of development.
