Hi, (Context/Disclaimer: I dont use KDE. I've been using Linux systems for 19 years now and I have never before heard of KDE Discover. Personally I would trust the venerable 'apt' family tools over GUI stuff.) Checking here [1] for what you describe, it sounds rather like bug #443351 [2]. That bug was reported in 2021 and has not yet been closed. You don't mention what version of Discover you are using. If you want to put your question to folks who are known to care about KDE application development, then the KDE project [3] says that they have a mailing list [4] "for KDE users with questions strictly about KDE applications". I imagine you're more likely to get engaged answers there, because most people here probably prefer the 'apt' tools, judging by the relative amount of discussion about them.
