Thank you for your reply, Eduardo. However it appears that there is another problem. The printer requires entry of a password. An the menu for that is available in windows, but I have no idea where in linux I would get properties about printer and printing permissions. This is at a university, and not everyone can print to the printer. Does anyone know or have an idea how I could pull up a menu from which I can enter my password for getting permission to print under linux, debian 12?
