I think the article misses the mark. It only opines about the day of protests at Tiananmen Square. I believe the article was accurate in that respect. But the article does not discuss what happened at other cities and universities; and it does not discuss what happened after the days of protests. I visited the Albert Einstein Institute (referenced in the article) around 2012 or 2013. I got to speak with Jamila and Dr. Sharp about the events. As I understand the events, the other cities and universities experienced some of the bloodshed. And the roundups and imprisonments happened for months after the protests. It has been my observation that roundups and imprisonments are routine for the Chinese Communist Party. All under the guise of "transformation-through-education" or "re-education."
