AFAICT:

Not a lot has been indexed from debian-user since about
March/April. If you order hits by Date rather than Relevance,
the dearth becomes quite apparent.

For subsequent months, it seems that the first posting of the month
gets indexed, as indicated by searching for sure-fire hits like:
  debian file
and turning up:
  https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2024/09/msg00000.html

Here's another oddity, though: I searched (all words) for
  disadvantage method check
and it found 13 occurences, one of which was the reference above!
I chose those words as they occur in the /next/ post for that
month, msg00001.html, and that /wasn't/ listed. Ditto for
  string ellipsis version
which should match msg00002.html, but only gives the same old
msg00000.html reference as the sole hit.

Cheers,
David.
