Yup, the Free Software world needs more companies who sell support contracts and collaborate between them to lower their costs and strengthen their offering (so as to be competitive with larger corporations). But of course, there's still the issue that "noone was fired for buying <BIGNAMEHERE>", so any human-scale company offering support contracts will tend to be overlooked, even if its bid is competitive.
