In a way, this is good. It lets Richard see what his messages look like to other people. At least, assuming his browser isn't configured to ignore his own font size directives.... If you still have one of Richard's messages in your inbox, you can look at the raw HTML. An excerpt of it has been posted a couple times in this thread already. A bit of it is also included in the HTML source of the list archive page (hence you seeing the font size difference), but that's after the archives have wrapped another layer of HTML encoding around the original, so take that with a grain of salt.
