I'm not much wiser either. But I shall try to remember never to run aptitude upgrades without doing a pg_dumpall first just in case postgres is due for an upgrade. > But at least your problem has forewarned me. Forewarned is fore-armed. But only if you remember... Actually, don't you think it would be a neat feature for aptitude if it were to always first run a script that the user could configure?
